There are opportunities to obtain a Substitute Authorization from the Colorado Department of Education which allows the holder to be a “Guest Teacher” in our district.  This type of license requires a Bachelor’s Degree.  Please contact Sandy Newsom at the Central Administration Office at (719) 686-2004 or e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Our district also has a great need for substitutes for our support staff as well.  Our needs include Secretarial, Paraeducator, Custodial, Nurse and Crossing Guard. The application packet and fingerprinting may be obtained at the Central Administration Office.
